# Best Extra Long Duvet Covers for Taller Beds Source: https://tallfolkpicks.com/best/best-extra-long-duvet-covers Updated: 2026-10-20 Publisher: Tall Folk Picks. Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://tallfolkpicks.com/how-we-research#our-score An extra long duvet cover is a protective fabric shell cut with additional length to fully enclose oversized or extra-long comforters. It helps tall sleepers whose feet slip past a standard duvet, ensuring the insert and the person underneath stay covered right to the edge of a longer bed. When shopping, match the cover to your comforter's exact dimensions and confirm the added length, since a loose or short cover shifts and bunches. Look for interior corner ties and a secure closure such as buttons or a zipper to keep the insert in place. Breathable cotton or a cotton blend feels comfortable year-round, and a slightly generous cut drapes better over a taller mattress. ## Picks ### 1.
