What we liked
- + Steel slat platform is listed as supporting up to 3000 lbs, enough for a heavy mattress and two sleepers
- + Nine support legs spread the load, which helps stop the center from sagging under a large mattress
- + No headboard or footboard attached, so nothing cuts into the 84 inch sleeping length; legs have holes to add one later
Trade-offs
- - No headboard is included, so you have nothing to lean against when reading in bed
- - At 14 inches high with a listed 83.6 inch length, it sits lower than the 18 inch frames if getting up matters to you
