HOROW T0338W Compact One Piece Toilet, ADA Chair Height 17.3 Inch, Elongated Bowl, Dual Flush 1.1/1.6 GPF Review (2026)

Who this toilet fits best

HOROW built the T0338W around ADA-style chair height seating at a specified 17.3 inches, which puts it squarely in the same taller-seat category that benefits tall adults, older users and anyone who finds a standard-height toilet uncomfortable to rise from. The one-piece, compact design also targets bathrooms with limited space, since a fused tank-and-bowl unit typically has a smaller footprint than a two-piece toilet with a separate tank. It suits a buyer who wants a specific, published height measurement rather than a general comfort-height label, since 17.3 inches is stated directly rather than described only in relative terms.

Dual flush and the trapway design

The T0338W uses a dual flush system offering a 1.1 gallon option for liquid waste and a 1.6 gallon option for solid waste, letting the user choose the lighter flush most of the time to save water without sacrificing performance when it matters. Flushing relies on a siphon mechanism paired with a fully glazed trapway, a design intended to reduce residue buildup and support strong waste clearing in a single pass. The bowl is elongated, adding seating room that complements the taller chair-height positioning, and the toilet is available with either a 10 inch or a 12 inch rough-in, which affects compatibility with existing plumbing during a bathroom renovation.

One-piece construction and daily cleaning

Because the tank and bowl are molded as a single ceramic piece rather than bolted together, there is no seam between them to trap moisture, dust or grime, which is the main daily-use advantage a one-piece toilet holds over a two-piece design. That seamless exterior is easier to wipe down in a single pass during routine bathroom cleaning. The toilet ships with a soft-closing PP seat that is screw-fixed in place, reducing noise from the seat dropping and keeping it more securely anchored than seats that rely only on friction hinges over years of use.

Brand support and how it compares

HOROW backs the T0338W with a stated 1-year limited warranty and lifetime after-sales support, with the company citing fast customer response times, though as a newer entrant to the US market it does not have the decades of installed base and third-party parts availability that KOHLER or TOTO have built up. Against the KOHLER Cimarron, a two-piece rival at a similar comfort height, this toilet's one-piece build is easier to clean but trades some of that brand depth. Against the TOTO Drake, which uses a 1.28 GPF single flush Tornado system, HOROW's dual flush option gives more direct control over water use per flush, letting a household dial in savings on every liquid-waste flush rather than using the same volume each time.

Verdict and who should look elsewhere

For a bathroom where a precisely specified 17.3 inch seat height, dual flush water savings and easy one-piece cleaning matter most, the T0338W is a well-equipped and competitively priced option. It is a strong pick for a smaller bathroom or a straightforward renovation where space and water use are the priorities. Buyers who place a higher priority on an established brand with a long service history and wide local parts availability, particularly for a primary or heavily used bathroom, may still lean toward KOHLER or TOTO despite the higher price those brands typically carry.
